Clear Water Not Rust

They are polluting our water,
Not to mention our air.
They poison our food,
But does anyone care?

They are changing our weather,
And disasters create,
Telling us it is all fine,
And that everything’s great.

They lie to the media,
The media lies to us.
Will we ever learn,
To question is a job for us?

Why do we follow blindly?
Don’t we even care?
We are being destroyed,
From here to there.

Our government panders,
To big Oil and not us,
What do they care,
If our water taste like rust?

They say there’s no evidence,
They say there’s no proof.
They make lots of promises,
And they never goof.

They lied about Kenndy’s death,
They lied about Viet Namm,
They lied about 9 . 11,
Liar, another word for Uncle Sam.

We used to have a media,
That would investigate and report.
Now, afraid of corporate sponsors,
They just tell stories of a sort.

We must join with others,
As like minded as we.
Search out every matter,
And publish it free.

It is only when,
The people know.
That they can intelligently decide,
A better way we should go.

Our ignorance keeps,
Safe our abusers.
For they fear the truth,
In truth, they are losers!

Start where you live,
And straighten it out.
Clean out the corruption,
With a cheer and a shout.

First city, then county,
Then our home State.
Onto the U.S. Government,
Before it’s too late!

No, it will not be easy,
But do it we must.
With God’s help we can do it,
Clear water not Rust!
