The Better Way

Going through the motions,
And taking prayer request,
Helping out in Joplin,
They are doing their very best.

After school for children,
And lots of fun events.
Women’s study in Revelations,
Classes that seem relevant.

God really does not care,
How much we do or say,
None of this matters,
If His word we don’t obey.

There is a way,
That seems right to man.
And the fire is fanned,
By our owned hand.

Works are just works,
It is better to obey.
Follow His instructions,
Is the better way.
