prophetic messages?

Instead of being well grounded in God's word, some people are always looking for something new, while the answers and directions are in the book. My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. They are not destroyed for not chasing after new visions or new prophesies, they are destroyed for not learning what they have already been told. When someone claims to have a "prophetic message from God", the message should be compared to the Word of God, that we have in the Bible. God does not argue with Himself. Vague, meaningless, and even nice sounding statements, that do not line up with God's Word are words of false prophets. It is time for Christians to get back to God's Word and stop chasing after feelings, and sensations that are constantly being thrown out as "prophetic messages". Let us get back to God and His Word. My God Bless you in your study of His Word.
