No Matter Where You Go

Some go here,
Some go there.
Some don’t go at all,
Some just don’t care.

Some go to the big churches,
Some go to a small one.
Some like the music,
Or, the hymns that are sung.

Some like the preaching,
From the good old King James.
Some like to hear it, from
The newest that came.

Some sermons are filled,
With illustrations & charts.
Some sermons are simply,
To show off their smarts.

Many preachers claim,
To just preach the Word.
Many are just repeating,
What they’ve always heard.

They all claim to be right,
And find some to go along.
You can disagree,
But will be told you are wrong.

All claim to have truth,
With God as their head.
And yet can not agree,
On what each other has said.

Something is missing,
And some things don’t belong.
If they follow the same God,
They’d all sing the same song.

Some Churches decide together,
Some are just told.
Some get excided,
And some are just cold.

Are there any good churches?
There are, I am sure.
Not one will be perfect,
Full of people, not pure.

They are all just sinners,
And, saved by God’s grace.
They still make mistakes,
Even in their church place.

So, if you’re looking for perfect,
You won’t find it by far.
For, No Matter Where You Go,
There You Are!

Follow God, not man,
And on His word stand.
